As this month's New Moon approaches, many parts of the world are facing lockdown due to the Coronavirus. I don't want to spend too much time on it, as I'm sure everyone is already talking about, and I know it can be stressful.
While many of us are stuck indoors or working from home this could be a great time for some reflection and creative thinking. It's hard not to get caught up in the fear, but rather than it controlling us perhaps we can take a little bit of the power back.
While this situation is not ideal, I cannot help but notice some of the positives that will come out of it. For people, for the world. But it's also going to get really tough before it gets better - look after yourself and each other.
What can we do in these situations to change the narrative or perspective? Being at home, you have time to rest, appreciate your home, take the time to call loved ones, spend time with families. Do those things you have been putting off as you never have the time, learn a new skill or engage with your neighbours. How can you help each other? Can you take turns collecting essentials, sharing supplies, helping with childcare...anything you can do safely.
